We have a number of projects started or planned this year.

There is always the need for someone to take Stewardship of these and make certain they are run to completion.  Remember that Stewardship is is using your time and talent, not money, that God has blessed you with.

EsTey organ renovation

This is probably the biggest project at this time.  We agreed to take ownership of the organ at the now defunct Good Shepard Episcopal Church in East Chicago, IN. According to the serial number it is an approximately one hundred year old Model “T”  Estey reed (pump) organ.  We are still trying to sort out some of the often times contradictory stories of it’s origin and how came to Good Shepard.  There is quite a buildup of dirt and debris internally, felts and leather parts have deteriorated significantly, and, the case needs refinishing.  But, in the end, it promises to provide magnificent music.
